Solstice is a planetary-wide celebration of the longest night and the returning of the Light. Many religions have a Sun Child born at this time of year. This non-denominational ritual will feature readings, moments of silence, and songs that take us on a journey from the quiet of darkness to a joyous celebration of returning Light. The participatory nature of this event is perfect for families with children of all ages.
The celebration begins at 7pm. When the celebration concludes, join us for an indoor feast (no cost to attend, but please bring finger foods to share!).
A pre-Solstice chili supper fundraiser will also be held in the Commons and RE Building from 5:30-6:30pm. Adults $5/Children $3. Sponsored by the Family Ministry Team.
