Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis

Our annual soup kitchen is quickly approaching!  Please plan on staying after service on Sunday, February 13th for a filling lunch of soup, bread, and dessert, and enjoy wonderful fellowship as well.  All donations will be gratefully accepted and donated to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center to support the wonderful work they do in our local neighborhood.

Everyone needs to play a part in making this event successful.  Here’s the plan:

• Families with children and youth in RE classes will make pots of soup.
• Everyone else with last names ending A-N should bring a dessert.
• Everyone else with last names ending O-Z should bring sliced bread, cornbread squares/muffins or rolls.
• Junior High youth and parents will assist with set-up, serving, and clean-up.

Please contact Carolyn with questions or to sign up to make a pot of soup. She will also be at the RE Table in the Social Hall on Sunday, January 30th with sign up sheets and copies of recipes.
