The Heartland UU District of the Unitarian Universalist Association is creating opportunities for members and friends of UUI to engage one another in Listening Circles regarding the recent negotiated separation of the Rev. Stephen Sinclair from UUI.
The second will occur on Thursday, June 7 at 7 pm in the sanctuary. The Rev. Dr. Gretchen Woods, a UU minister experienced in facilitating such activities, has offered her services for this effort. All concerned members and friends are invited to come and both speak and listen with best possible motives for the health of UUI in mind.
This is not an effort to debate or argue, nor is it in any way the difficult work of the interim period to come. This is simply an opportunity to hear one another so that truth may be brought to light as much as possible in line with our Unitarian Universalist Principles.
The first Listening Circle on May 30th was well attended and hopefully this one will be as well.
