May 11, 2011A Series for Seekers and Explorers, New Members, and People Who Have Been Here Years and Years
Saturday, May 14, 2011 9:30a-3:30p
If you have been attending UUI services and would like to know more about Unitarian Universalism and this congregation
If you aren’t sure whether any church is for you, but this one might be
If UUI is already your religious or spiritual home and you would like to have a new look at your path and those who share it with you
Then please register and come to this special 1-session event. We will explore:
- Our life in and about this congregation.
- The meaning of membership: What’s going on here? How do I fit in?
- Our personal religious or spiritual histories and Unitarian Universalist history: How did we get here anyway?
- Our principles and purposes and our pluralism: What do UU’s believe? Do we have anything in common after all?
Please register by Wednesday, May 11th. You can also register at the Welcome Table in the Social Hall on Sundays through May 8th.
This is not a drop-in group. You are asked to commit to being present for the entire session. If you are already a member but have friends who are “UU’s without knowing it,” please encourage them to register for this series and join you in attending.
Childcare is available with advance notification.
