Sunday, January 25

Hello, Wonderful UUI Families!

It may be cold outside, but this Sunday at UUI will be full of warmth and learning:

The preschoolers will be exploring the wonders of snow by painting with "snow" and building sugar cube "snow" forts as part of their Chalice Children Curriculum.

The K-5th graders will be having fun indoors by creating their own luau complete with handmade leis after they explore the similarities between native Hawaiian culture and UU principles.

The Jr. High students will be continuing to explore Families by drawing portraits of their own families and examining other family portraits.

The Sr. High students will continue their 2nd session in the "Be the Change" project by watching short video clips, including Jay Smooth's TED Talk, and discussing "Why UUs Talk about Race".

We hope to see you this Sunday!
