What are you doing July 15-19?
Why do I ask?
Well, I have one of the most seriously fun things going on then and I want you to be a part of it, that's all!
That's the week of Peace Camp for our 4-year-olds - 6th graders and there's a way for everyone to participate!
That each and every person is important, that all people should be treated fairly and kindly and that we should work for a peaceful, fair and free world--these are just some of the lessons our Padawan, or Jedi apprentices, will be learning on our beautiful campus during their week at Jedi Academy. We'll be learning through games, art, maker space, music and more!
Last year we took a trip to the Butler Planetarium, practiced our Jedi skills with light sabers, learned the moon phases with oreos, learned peaceful practices, and did so many other fun, meaningful and interesting things!
Please check below for registration information, volunteer and counselor information for junior and senior high youth. If you are interested in helping with a proposal to NASA so that we can have a chance to talk to the International Space Station please let me know!
Tomorrow is going to be awesome at UUI! I hope your family can join us!
Peace and Love,
Director of Lifespan Religious Education
