Dear Beautiful UUI Families,
Tomorrow morning we are having a multi-generational service, which means our children and youth will stay in the service with their friends, family and community for the entire service instead of being sung out to their Religious Exploration time together following the Words for All Ages portion of the service as usual.
During the sermon, kids will be invited to join staff and volunteers in the Social Hall where we will have engaging activities available for our preschoolers and also children Kindergarten - 6th grade to explore.
The sermon, by our Director of Ministry, Jamie Hinson-Rieger, is “How to Be a Good Person (Your Questions Answered, Part 3)”: As we continue to answer your questions from the January “Question Box” service, this Sunday we will focus on your ethical questions. You had questions about guns, money, materialism, democracy, peace, and protecting the planet. You wanted to know how we can live ethical lives that go beyond just fulfilling our own wants and needs. This Sunday we will tackle some of those thorny issues and look at the general question of what it means to live an ethical life.
I hope you can join us--it's going to be an awesome day!
Peace and Love,
Director of Lifespan Religious Education
