This Music Sunday service will reflect on the multifaceted subject of traveling. Why do we travel? Do we travel by choice or by circumstances? How are our experiences traveling influenced by our economic status or country of origin?
The UUI Choir will sing songs including Prayer of the Children, a moving piece about refugees traveling from home, and Harriet Tubman, a spiritual about the Underground Railroad.
Teacher Recognition Sunday – All Religious Education teachers, associates, and volunteers will be honored at a special reception between the first and second services in the Fellowship Hall.
Share the Plate: Half of the collected offering will be shared with the Martin Luther King Service Center.
