Throughout all of our lives, we’ve had friends, we’ve followed people, and we’ve liked certain thoughts and ideas.  Now we have “friends” on Facebook, we “follow” people on Twitter, and we “like” certain thoughts and ideas on all manner of social networking and social media services.  It would seem that mobile communications and the internet have changed social networking.  Let’s explore the nature of our relationships with other people and examine some ideas about how to incorporate new technologies into our lives.
