Caring Team

If you have a caring need, please email our Caring team at caring@uui.org.

The Caring team at UUI:

• Sends out cards and emails acknowledging people’s joys and sorrows

• Makes or arranges for hospital visits

• Arranges for meals to be brought to your home (for example, while recuperating from an illness or after a new baby is born)

• Assists with one-time or short-term transportation needs (for example, a ride to a doctor’s appointment)

We can always use help with this important work! To join the Caring team, please email caring@uui.org.

Medical Equipment

If you have a short-term need for medical equipment, the following items may be available to be borrowed by members and friends of UUI:

• Canes

• Crutches

• Walkers

• Toilet seat insert / arms

• Wheelchair
